Please see below Festive Season estimated closures for Embassies, Consulates and Lodgement Centres that Visas Zone submit to on a regular basis. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy and therefore this is purely a guideline.

- Angola Cape Town – Closing 14 December 2018 re-opening 7th January 2019
- Angola Johannesburg – Closing 21 December 2018 and re-opening 7th January 2019
- Angola Pretoria – Closing 14 December 2018 re-opening 7th January 2019
- Australia – Will be open, only closed on South African Public Holidays
- Belgium – Will be open, only closed on South African Public Holidays (Cape Town & Johannesburg)
- Canada – Closed25th, 26th, 27th December 2018 and 2nd January 2019
- China Visa Application Centre – Closed 25th, 26th, 27th December 2018 and 2nd January 2019
- Egypt – No updates yet but generally closed between Christmas and South African Public Holidays
- France and Italy – Closed 25th, 26th December 2018 and 1st January 2019
- Germany – Only Closed on South African public Holidays. The Embassy and Consulate will have skeleton staff and will, therefore, impact processing times
- Greece – Normal Christmas and New Year holidays
- Japan – Closed on South African Public Holidays and the 2nd of January and re-opens the 3rd of January 2019
- Madagascar – Closed 25th 26th, December 2018 and 1st January 2019
- Morocco – No updates yet but generally closed between Christmas and South African Public Holidays
- Mozambique – No updates yet but generally closed between Christmas and South African Public Holidays
- Nigeria – Closed on 25th, 26th December 2018 and 1st January 2019 (Johannesburg and Pretoria)
- Russia – Closed 25th 26th, December 2018 and 2nd January 2019
- Rwanda – No updates yet but generally closed between Christmas and South African Public Holidays
- Senegal – 25th, 26 December 2018 until 2nd January 2019
- Schengen countries i.e. Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden Switzerland, Ukraine etc. – Will be open, only closed on South African Public Holidays
- Taiwan – Closed 25th, 26th December 2018 and 1st January 2019
- Uganda – Closed from 21st December 2018 until 7th January 2019
- Ukraine – Closed from 21st December 2018 reopening on 3rd January 2019
- United Kingdom – Will be open, only closed on South African Public Holidays (Cape Town & Johannesburg)
- USA (no updates yet but generally between closed between Christmas and South African Public Holidays)
- Vietnam – Closed 25th, 26th, 27th December 2018 and 1st January 2019
- Visas Zone will be closed from 24 December 2018 and re-open on the 7th of January 2019
