Consulates Closures - April
Please note that most weeks during April are short due to various Consulate/ Embassy and South African public Holidays and influences processing times at most Consulates. Also note that Visas Zone will make use of all available resources to help issue visas on time.
See below list of those we are aware of:
The Angolan Consulate/Embassy will be closed on the 4th and 5th of April 2019.
The Cape Town and Johannesburg Belgium Lodgement Centre will not issue visas between 17 April and 1 May 2019. We requested a reason but none was given. We suggest all passengers postpone travel plans to Belgium during this period or make use of any existing valid Schengen visa to enter Belgium (All multiple Schengen visas can be used)
Closed on the 5th due to the Chinese public holiday – Qing Ming Festival
Due to an attack on the Chadian Forces which occurred in N’Djamena Chad, the Embassy of Chad will not be issuing any visas until further notice. The Consulate should start issuing visas from next week. However, this is not confirmed.
The Consulate confirmed they will be closed on the 15th and 16th of April. This means we have two days to issue visas due to the South African Public holidays. We suggest submitting all urgent visas to our offices ASAP.
